Police : Car Thief Leaves Court Documents in Stolen Car, Then Shows up To Police Station in Another Stolen Car
ST. PETERSBURG, Fl — Police are claiming 18-year-old Carnell Eugene stole a police car right from the the front on their headquarters to pick up court documents about another vehicle robbery he had been involved in.
police say they discovered the stolen car on Sunday. And were able to determine that Mr. Eugene was the responsible party, due to the fact that he left court documents from his other pending court case for still a different vehicle.
Officers were able to catch Mr. Eugene shortly after recovering the stole car and upon a brief search of his pockets, detectives also discovered another set of keys to another car that had been reported stolen earlier that today.
Butler was being held without bond. Jail records didn’t list an attorney.
